Forestry Tour DescriptionsPlant a Tree - Balance Your Carbon - A Carbon Conversation
Modern life in Canada creates a large carbon footprint. Here is your chance to decrease your personal impact, by planting some trees while you enjoy an evening drive and country-side visit, some local food products, and good company. We will have trees and planting tools for those who want to use them! Mark Clark will guide the tour. Mark has worked as a Professional Forester in Prince George for over 30 years, principally for industrial firms but also as a consultant working collaboratively with small tenure holders, First Nations, woodlots, community forestry associations, and government. His reputable tour company, Touchwood Tours, delivers public tours throughout the area. As this is an industrial setting, age is limited to 14 years, personal protective equipment will be provided, and long pants with sturdy footwear is necessary.
